Annual, New and Nature-Inspired Events in Big Bear, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Joshua Tree & Redlands


From cycling to music festivals, there’s so much to experience throughout Southern California. Buckle up for a high-flying airshow at the Hangar 24 Airfest. Spring into the sun and check out some of the events happening in the mountains and deserts of San Bernardino County.

Shakti Fest

The 5 day yoga festival combines personal health, wellness and fun in one event. The Shakti Fest celebrates yoga and meditation in the tranquil surroundings of Joshua Tree. Throughout the weekend , the festival will be filled with positivity and passion with yoga sessions, art installations, live painting and other activities that only bring out positive vibes.

Big Bear Lake May Fishing Festival at Pine Knot Marina

It’s time to bring out those fishing poles. The Big Bear Lake May Fishing Festival brings the joy of fishing to many. On the south shores of Big Bear Lakes, family and friends are invited to enjoy a weekend of fun in the San Bernardino Mountains. Stop by the exhibitor booths to dive deep into the world of outdoor fun and learn more about fishing. Be sure to keep an eye out and you might just catch some Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Blue Catfish, and other fish swimming around the lake.

Big Bear Lake Memorial Weekend "Grill & Chill"

The 1st Annual Big Bear Lake Grill and Chill is a combination of competition, food and festival fun. The three day event focuses on food with a grand KC BBQ State Championship. Attendees can watch as pitmasters work their magic competing to win the bragging rights of having the best BBQ around. The Craft Brew Festival is Sunday’s main event, with more than 30 breweries teaming up to close out the event with ice cold pours of delicious brews. Enjoy great food, live music, drafts and family-friendly fun all weekend long.

Memorial Day Show and Shine Car Show & Pinewood Derby

The family-friendly events is a car lover’s dream as they get to admire the machinery of these modern day artifacts.

Spartan Race: SoCal Beast and Sprint - Snow Summit/ Big Bear

A test of endurance and strength, the Spartan Race is a three mile obstacle course constructed to test your will and change your life. The dynamic endurance test makes its way to the mountains, allowing participants to embark on a challenging trek to bring out their true Spartan.

Crestline Wine and Stein in the Pines

Wine and dine yourself in the mountains of Crestline at the The North Shore Inn, which is situated directly across from Lake Gregory. Tour the mountain city and experience the art scene. Artists and antique shops showcase their signature works while wines and brews are constantly flowing. Come for the tasty sips and stay for the fun.

Lake Arrowhead 2018 Concert Series

Jumpstart the summer lakeside at the Lake Arrowhead 2018 Concert Series. In the heart of the Lake Arrowhead Village, lively bands take the stage to serenade the crowd. This outdoor summer concert series brings a variety of musicians and bands to the mountains for nights of fun under the stars.

Hangar 24 Airfest

The Hangar 24 Airfest is back with a fantastic show of high-flying aircrafts. This year’s festival adds another notch of fun by hosting a beer festival. Hangar 24 has partnered with other breweries and wineries to host a beer garden alongside the airshow festivities. Expect to enjoy live music, tasty brews and a dazzling airshow during this two day event.

Redland Bicycle Classic -- Redlands

The Redland Bicycle Classic is back as the longest running invitational in American bike racing. Each year, professionals and enthusiasts strap on their helmets and gear up to race through Redlands and the surrounding communities. From Big Bear to Redlands, each stage of the biking event comes with a unique set of challenges, putting all racers to the test to see who will make it to the finish line.
