Camping should probably be considered an American pastime. Many families have made great memories while out on camping trip, if yours hasn't it's not too late! While the list below is short, we have a large amount of camping options in the county. Below is just a taste of the different selections we have to offer. See the links at the bottom for even more sites!

Whether you sleep under the stars or enjoy the comfort of an RV, here you will find some amazing and varied camping locations. Seven regional parks offer a wide selection of RV and tent camp sites. Most accommodate group camping. The sites are clean, well maintained and very popular. Reservations are highly recommended.
 

Sleep Underneath the Stars

The Green Valley Lake campground offers single-family sites for tent and RV camping. Some sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site is equipped with a table and campfire ring with grill. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. No overflow parking is available.

Calico Ghost Town

Camp in an Old West silver mining town dating back to the 1880's. Camping for tents, RVs and groups. Dry, partial and full hook-ups available. Overnight camping includes admission to the Ghost Town for up to six persons per unit. 36600 Ghost Town Road Yermo, CA  92398 Phone: (800) 86-CALICO
